Replacement product
This Prestashop 1.7 and 8 module offers your customers an improved user experience by proposing one or more replacement products when the initial product is out of stock.
Why offer a replacement product on products that are out of stock?
By including a replacement product in your product files when a product is out of stock, you are offering a solution to a situation that could lead to lost sales.
An out-of-stock product generates a great deal of frustration for your customers and often leads to orders being stopped, poor ratings, shopping baskets being abandoned or even customers being lost.
With this module, you can now offer one or more substitute products for your out-of-stock products.
It also optimises stock management by giving visibility to products in large quantities.
How the back office works :
Once your module has been installed, simply access the back office of a product sheet. Click on "add a replacement product" and create your list of replacement products in order of importance. The first product in stock on your list is offered to the customer.
How does the front office work?
It's easy to configure: all you have to do is define where you want to display your list (predefined hooks or widget), how you want to display it (with or without a slider) and how many products from your list you want to display.
