This Prestashop module can be used to prevent products from being added to or removed from the shopping cart if they cannot be delivered to the customer's delivery address. The module relies on the configuration of carriers and the customer's delivery address to determine the deliverability of products.
Prohibit products from being added to the shopping basket based on country
This Prestashop module allows you to prevent products that cannot be delivered to the customer's address from being added to the shopping cart. It can also be used to automatically remove products that cannot be delivered to the customer's address from the shopping basket. The module is based on the configuration of your carriers, and their specific assignments to products.
As soon as the customer's address is "known", the module checks whether a carrier can deliver to this address. If there is no carrier available at that address, "unauthorised" products are automatically removed from the cart. An alert shows the customer the list of deleted products.
Product file, prevent from being added to the cart
If there is no carrier delivering to the customer's address, the add to cart button is disabled. This prevents you from validating orders with products that cannot be delivered to certain countries!
The module is ultra-simple, with no configuration required!
